Strawberry Sorbet is a cross between the OGS Quick Freeze and Swiss Strawberry (Eirdbei) hybrid.

Seed from this cross will produce quick finishing plants for more northern Oregon outdoor gardens. It should also combine other desireable traits of both parents — great bud density (quick freeze), larger better yielding plants (eirdbei hybrid), above average potency (both parents), a richer taste with many specimens giving a pleasant hit of strawberry on the tongue.

This cross was made expressly for use in a breeding project and will not be made again.
