Genetics: Jack Herer x Mountain Magic
Indica/Sativa: 50/50 ish
Flowering: 65-70 days
Outdoors: first week October, Salem-Portland OR
Height: manageable indoors, can go big outdoors
Yield: average to well above average
THC to CBD ratio – 1:1 to 2:1 (although THC will typically not exceed 1.5:1)
THC/CBD Ratios (above) will be fairly consistent with Magic Jack. However, percentages of CBD and THC will depend ultimately on grow conditions, climate, hours of light, grower skill, etc. Expect average percentages of THC in the range of 9-15%, and CBD from 9-12%.
1. For noticeable pain relief, particularly for severe pain, its important to have measurable THC.
2. A little CBD goes a long way — a very moderate amount, as little as .75-1% CBD can and will reduce the psychoactive effect of THC. Often just a percent or two will completely eliminate the psychoactive component of THC as high as 15-18%.
I get a LOT of requests for Jack Herer. Growers either love the high they get from Jack, and/or they appreciate that Jack Herer is also known for producing specimens that are CBD rich.
Crossing the Jack Herer with our Mountain Magic high CBD hemp produces a plant with enough THC for good pain relief, yet still retains the benefits of quite significant CBD.
